TRIFER TABLETS

Trifer tablets contain Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex equivalent to 100 mg of elemental iron with 1000 mcg of Folic acid fortification in a special Alu-Alu blister packing.

Composition:

Each uncoated chewable tablet contains:
Iron(III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex equivalent to elemental iron	100 mg
Folic Acid	1000 mcg

Indications:
Iron deficiency anaemia and in other associated anaemia.

Contra-Indications:
Concurrent administration of antacids because absorption of iron is decreased in the presence of antacids.

Side Effects:
Occasional gastro intestinal side effects like Vomiting, Diarrhoea and constipation.

Dosage:
One to two tablets to be chewed per day or as directed by the Physician.

Presentation:
Browinsh black coloured, circular, biconvex, chewable tablets with chocolate flavour.
