Pexomox
is a brand of Amoxycillin,
a semisynthetic antibiotic, an analogue of ampicillin
with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against
many gram positive and gram negative micro organisms. |

Indications:
E.N.T. infections, Lower respiratory tract infection, Genito urinary tract infection,
skin and soft tissue infections, Typhoid, uncomplicated gonorrhoea.
Contra-Indications:
History of allergic reaction to any of the penicillins.
Warnings:
Pexomox should be withdrawn if allergic reaction occurs and before prescribing care should be taken to ensure that patient
is not allergic to penicillins.
Precautions:
As with any potent drug, assessment of renal, hepatic and haemopoietic function should be made during prolonged therapy.
If mycotic or bacterial super infection occurs drug has to be withdrawn.
Dosage:
125 mg as directed by the Physician
250 mg Q.I.D.
500 mg B.I.D.
